About religious communities and other life associations engaged

In the Archdiocese of Gatineau, the Network of Persons of Consecrated Life is a source of wealth in the Church today. In their continual "aggiornamento" these people undertake a continual conversion which is necessary to give meaningful testimony in an ever-changing society. Each according to their charism, they are an important resource for a Church that wishes to engage in the "missionary turn" within the ecclesial and social circumstances of the twenty-first century.

Here are the different forms of life to which these consecrated persons belong, as well as links to web sites where you can discover their unique charisms:

Men and women who live the consecrated life are a discreet seed in the Church. They bear fruit, each according to the charism of their Congregation. They are also a source of inspiration in their desire to be "new wine in new wineskins" in a world which is in continual transformation. In the Church, are we not all called together "to let ourselves be disquieted and destabilized by the life-giving power of the Spirit"? (inspired by À vin nouveau, outres neuves, p.3)
