Walk of Solidarity in Gatineau Tonight

Gatineau, Québec – The Collectif Islamo-Chrétien de la Ville de Gatineau is organizing a Walk of Solidarity in response to yesterday’s attack at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec, in Quebec City.


When:           Tonight, January 30th, 2017

Schedule:     6:15 pm         Speeches

6:30 pm         Walk of Solidarity 

Where:          Start      :  St-Joseph’s Cathedral, 245 St-Joseph Blvd.

                                         Gatineau (Hull sector)

                        Finish   :  Outaouais Islamic Center, 4 Lois St.

                                        Gatineau (also Hull sector)


People are invited to meet in the basement of the Cathedral at 6:15 pm, when Mr. Ahmed Limame, Imam of the Outaouais Islamic Center, as well as Msgr. Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau, and Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, Mayor of Gatineau, will speak, along with a few other representatives of the community.
