a path to growth, human development and personal fulfillment.”

Our societies are confronted with a new era of technological development that is liable to have profound consequences. Some have called this era the “fourth industrial revolution” [1] with reference to the upheavals created by the latest technological advancements – in computing power, for example, or in connectivity or biotechnology.
